Number one Milan tip: Gemelli pizzeria—simultaneously the most humble and best pizza joint I know. I have been fortunate to spend a decent chunk of time in this northern Italian city, due to my parents having lived there a number of years. Wandering the streets with a camera is fun, but I especially enjoyed the top-down view from their 6th floor balcony in Via Rovereto with the changing light and shadow at different times of day.
